The C-Type runs a fully automated, stroke-synchronized production cycle. Every stage is timed to the press. One operator. One integrated line. Continuous output.
The press does not run alone. It runs as part of a complete, synchronized system — every component is engineered to keep pace with the stamping cycle.
The heart of the C-Type production line. Delivers rapid, consistent stamping strokes to form aluminum foil sheets into finished containers.
The C-frame (open-back) structure provides three-side access to the die area — front, left, and right. This means faster mold installation, easier die adjustment, and quicker changeover between container sizes.
High-rigidity welded steel construction delivers 450-800kN nominal force with precision ±0.1mm digital slider adjustment. Advanced safety features include dual-drop protection, overload sensors, and 50-75 trips per minute operational efficiency.

Precision automatic feeding positions the aluminum foil sheet for each stroke cycle. The integrated oiling system applies consistent lubrication to prevent material tearing during forming.
These two systems run synchronized with the press. If the feeding pauses, the press pauses. MTED integrates these as a single coordinated unit — not separate bolt-on accessories.
Split tension-free feeding system ensures wrinkle-free material handling with imported triple-axis lubrication mechanism. Dual-servo precision control adapts to various foil types with automated material-stop and color-tracking capabilities.

The C-Type supports both single-cavity and multi-cavity mold operation.
Mold changeover is fast. The C-frame's open architecture gives operators direct access to the die area from three sides. No blind-side bolting. No awkward tool angles.
Pneumatic scrap removal system efficiently transports waste aluminum foil material away from the press area.
Automated material handling reduces cleanup time and maintains clean production environment for continuous operation.

IP54-rated enclosure with 7.5-11kW motor power provides reliable electrical protection and performance monitoring.
Self-diagnosis system prevents downtime while maintaining 0.55MPa air pressure for optimal pneumatic operation.

Direct integration system connects seamlessly with production lines for automated foil waste management.
Pneumatic transport creates high-density compressed blocks, reducing storage space by 80% with zero manual labor.

After forming, containers are ejected from the mold cavity using compressed air, then transferred to the stacking system.
Tool-free adjustment system enables quick mold changes for diverse aluminum foil container production requirements.
Built-in jam detection with proprietary servo lifting platform ensures precision operation and extended equipment durability.

This is the most misunderstood number in the aluminum foil container industry.
Press cylinder speed ≠ Production speed.
A bare pneumatic cylinder can cycle at 300+ SPM with no material, no mold, and no downstream equipment. That number appears on spec sheets. It is technically accurate. It is also completely irrelevant to your actual output.
Real container production requires: foil feeding, lubrication, stamping, air ejection, stacker transfer, and counting. Each step takes time. Each step must complete before the next stroke begins.
40–80 SPM
True line speed of a fully synchronized MTED C-Type production line. This is the number you use for capacity planning.
| Configuration | SPM | Cavities | Per Minute | Per Hour | 8-Hour Shift |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single-cavity | 60 | 1 | 60 | 3,600 | 28,800 |
| 2-cavity | 60 | 2 | 120 | 7,200 | 57,600 |
| 4-cavity | 60 | 4 | 240 | 14,400 | 115,200 |
| 4-cavity (max) | 80 | 4 | 320 | 19,200 | 153,600 |
Realistic, sustained output numbers. Not peak-cycle theoretical maximums.

The C-Type is optimized for standard-depth aluminum foil containers — the most demanded shapes in food packaging.

The C-Type is built for shallow-to-medium depth containers. If your container geometry requires deep drawing — where the depth-to-width ratio exceeds roughly 0.5:1 — you need the structural rigidity of the H-Type aluminum foil box making machine.
The C-frame delivers excellent speed and mold accessibility. But under extreme forming depths, the open-back frame experiences angular deflection. For deep turkey roasting pans, deep-dish catering trays, or oversized baking pans, the H-Type's closed-gantry dual-column structure is required.
Both machines make aluminum foil containers. They serve different production missions.
| Factor | C-Type | H-Type |
|---|---|---|
| Frame Design | Open-back C-frame | Closed-gantry dual-column |
| Best For | Standard-depth, high-speed | Deep-draw, heavy-tonnage |
| Mold Access | Three-side open access | Front access only |
| Mold Changeover | Faster — open architecture | Slower — enclosed frame |
| Typical Tonnage | 45T – 80T | 80T – 110T |
| Capital Cost | Lower | Higher |
| Energy Use | Lower | Higher |
| Maintenance | Simpler mechanics | More complex structure |
| Floor Space | Smaller footprint | Larger footprint |
The C-Type processes standard aluminum foil for container forming.
Typical foil thickness: 0.03 mm – 0.08 mm

The synchronized oiling system is critical. Thinner foil tears under aggressive forming if lubrication is inconsistent. The automatic oiling unit applies a controlled, even layer before each stroke — preventing tearing, wrinkling, and uneven wall thickness.
Temper grade, alloy selection, and foil thickness all affect defect rates. We help buyers match material specifications to their container geometry and production speed during the line configuration process.
The C-Type press is the core of the line. But a production line is more than a press. MTED supplies complete, turnkey C-Type production lines.

We do not sell the press as a standalone unit. We configure the full line — then commission it on your factory floor.
The C-Type is the more cost-efficient option in our product line.
C-frame presses use simpler structural components. Open-back design requires less material and less complex machining.
Smaller motor. Lighter frame. Less power per stroke cycle compared to H-frame machines.
Simpler mechanics mean fewer failure points. Three-side access makes maintenance faster. Replacement parts cost less.
If your production runs takeout containers, airline trays, or baking cups, the C-Type delivers the output at a lower total cost of ownership.

A fully synchronized production line operates at 40 to 80 strokes per minute. This is true line speed — including feeding, oiling, stamping, ejection, and stacking. Press cylinder speed alone (300+ SPM) is not production speed.
Yes. The C-Type supports single-cavity and multi-cavity mold configurations. A 4-cavity mold at 60 SPM produces 240 containers per minute.
Standard range is 0.03 mm to 0.08 mm, which covers most food packaging container applications.
The C-frame's open-back design provides three-side die access. Mold changeover is significantly faster than on enclosed H-frame machines.
The C-Type is optimized for speed, versatility, and standard-depth containers. The H-Type is built for deep-draw forming and oversized multi-cavity molds that require extreme structural rigidity. See the full comparison above.
